The local Town Council recently held a civic reception for Ballinalsoe Town AFC. Players and management of the home side received ample praise from everyone present for their incredible achievements during the past year. The continued success throughout the season saw them carry numerous cups over the suck as well as battling it out with top side Kilbarrack United in the quarter final stages of the FAI Junior Cup. A number of Councillors were present for the reception including town mayor Mike Kelly. FAI President Paddy McCaul was the special guest on the night.

Ballinasloe Soccer Camp a Huge Success

 
ImageThe Ballinasloe Town Annual Summer Soccer Camp was held recently in the Curragh Grounds with Club member Barry O’Connor organizing the weeks activities. Over 70 kids participated in what was a very enjoyable week for both Coaches and Children. Each child received a participation medal along with a Ballinasloe Town Gym goodie bag containing a football and shin guards which was presented by Mayor Mike Kelly and Counselor Johnny Walsh.
A huge amount of work and preparation was put in, especially by the coaches; Gary Egan, Sead Dean, David Cullen Ciaran Keighrey and Francis Egan.
