Good news at last for St. Brigid’s Hospital?

In a night of good news for East Galway, the HSE has confirmed that it is also investing €1.6 million in two new specially designed state of the art homes for adults with a learning disability. These new homes are to be built on the St. Brigid’s Campus in Ballinasloe and will accommodate ten residents who currently live in the Oak Grove building which is fairly unsuitable for their needs. St. Brigid’s does have a major role to play in healthcare in the future and this is the first of a number of other investments to be made in the campus.
