We’re very lucky here in Ballinasloe to have such a diverse range of sports and clubs to delve into over the summer months. While the weather hasn’t been great, this didn’t seem to stop the hundreds of people who turned out for the local camps.
Here is some of the action that took place locally over the last few weeks!
Rubgy Camp!
Tennis:
This year’s Tennis Camps have come to an end, after running for four weeks in July.
Run by professional coach Robert Johnson and his assistants Laura Howard and Niamh Conerney, the camps were ‘’very well attended’’ according to club spokesperson Garry Zancanaro.
Over 40 children aged 5-17 attended each week and the feedback from both parents and children has been extremely positive.
Meanwhile, the Soccer Camps were underway…
The GAA Cúl Camps were also a huge success…
